One of the most important research fields of Turkish history researches is Turkmenistan history and ethnography researches. For this reason, studies on the history and ethnography of Turkmenistan have a great importance today. However, this particular academic research has not yet reached a sufficient level in our country. Especially in the beginning of the 20th century in the filling of this void, finding and evaluating the studies related to the topic in question is of great importance in terms of modern studies. As a matter of fact, an important source in this regard is the "Turkemenovedeniye" which was published between 1927-1932 by the Türkmen Culture Institute, affiliated to the Council of People's Commissars of the Soviet Socialist Republic of Turkmenistan. In this journal, important historians such as A. N. Samaylovic and V. Bartold published important studies on the history and ethnography of Turkmenistan by Turkmen historians and shared important information on the subject. With this thesis, Turkmenistan's history, ethnography, culture and developing political events will be revealed in the light of "Turkmenovedeniye" journal
