Abstract (EN)
In our study, we were investigated 12 euhalophyte taxa belongs to Chenopodiaceae family natives of Salt Lake area that is the third largest Lake in Turkey, collected from three different stations and investigated in terms of the changes in amounts of inorganic ion (Na+, Cl-, K+, Ca+2, Mg+2) and glycinebetaine in shoots by depending on differences between taxa and stations. Relationsips between the differences of taxa and soil properties (water content percentage, pH, EC, soluble anion (HCO3-, Cl-, SO4-2) and cation (Na+, K+, Ca+2, Mg+2)) where plants collected from were determined. The dominant salt type of all sations is NaCl. The soil properties of Şereflikoçhisar (1.) station is significantly different from other stations as EC value and Na+ and Cl- amounts. The strong positive relationship were determined between the EC values and Na+, Cl- amounts of soil. The Ca+2 amounts were decreased with increasing amounts of Na+. The glycinebetaine, Na+ and Cl- amounts were very high and the rate of Na+/K+ was higher than 1. There are differences in inorganic ion and glycinebetaine amount of taxa. There were strong positive relationship between the glycinebetaine amount of taxa and Na+ amount of soil.We determined that the characteristic adaptation mechanism of Chenopodiacaeae is the accumulation of Na+, Cl- and glycinebetaine.
