Abstract (EN)

In this study, water samples were collected from tuzla lagoon which is located in the (Adana-Karatas) Mediterranen region.Level of the total aerobic bacteria, total coliforms, total yeast and mold and investigated fecal Streptococcus and Vibrio sp. Were determined.Isolated bacteria were investigated of resistance frequency to against 16 antibiotics which are frequently used currently. Total 68 strain; Vibrio paraheamolyticus (22 isolates), Vibrio alginolyticcus (9 isolates), Photobacterum damsalae (1 isolate), Rhizobium radiobacter (3 isolates), Pantoea spp.(1 isolate), Sphngomonas paucmobilis (2 isolates), Vibrio methnischkovi(1 isolate), Aeromonas sobria (1 isolate) and Burkholderia cepacia (2 isolates) isolated from water samples. Isolated bacteria were investigated of resistance.Isolates were resistant to Penicillin(79%) and Cephalozin(7,35%), whereas sensitive against to other 14 antibiotic which is used for investigate. The MAR index of isolates ranged between 0 and 0,125. In conclusion, according to The Environment and Forest Ministry of Water Pollution Control Regulations Tuzla Lagoon's water quality was found to be first class
