Organizational structure styles, restructurings and adaptation capability to changes of waqfs in the third sector: An application in waqfs of culture and art in İstanbul

In the study, both third sector and waqf literatures and organization literature are combined and examined. Organizational structure types, external environment effects, change in internal structure, restructurings and adaptation capabilities of waqfs? particularly culture and arts are investigated in the light of combined literatures. At third part, organizational structure type has determined by evaluating the organizational dimensions which are centralization, specialization and formalization. External environment effects, change in internal structure for last five years and adaptation ability also determined. Secondly, restructurings, if exists or not, if exists which type preferred, besides, reasons of restructuring and not restructuring and if a difference exists ex-ante and ex-post restructurings are investigated under the economy policy approach. At last, importance of levels and subjects determined in performing in a manner, pursuing a certain policy for improving organization, evaluating their performance, operating activities in waqfs of culture and arts for future dissertations.
