Abstract (EN)
In this study, a risk management program has been developed toprevent the flight accidents that occur during military flight. First of all,the reasons of the accidents occurred during flights were investigatedand then risk groups were put in order. Evaluation notes were thengiven for each risk group. In any of the pre-mission planning, commander makes a risk analysis and then chooses the suitable pilotsfor the flight. In a mission planning, which is made by classical method,an experience-based method is adopted. This method causes flightaccidents due to human factor. In this study, in the selection process of the pilots to undertake themission, computer programming has been used. In the program, riskvalues and pilots? flight characteristics are available. Commander canchoose the risk values of the dangers during the mission that maycome across according to the flight conditions, and by benefiting fromthe updated pilots? information in the program database, the user canprovide a list of suitable pilots who can meet the risk of mission.Program is open for updating and it enables the input of new riskgroups, their values and pilots? information. This study will allow itpossible to make rapid and accurate decisions in the selection of thepilots who are eligible to go for flight missions. It is also consideredthat mission risk management program will reduce administrative andhuman based faults, which are important factors in flight accidents.Science Code : 919Key Words : Risk management, mission planning, risk matrixPage Number : 98Adviser : Assoc.
