Astronomical seeing statistics in Ulupınar astrophysical observatory

This research work, Ulupınar Astrophysical Observatory of Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University, in 2008, SBIG STL-1001 CCD camera connected to T40 telescope images of stars with angular diameters obtained values were calculated by measuring the astronomical seeing. By using these values, the astronomical seeing statistics were made for observatory. Besides the line profiles of the stars be true, it must be unsaturated, not faint and as far as possible must not have been the binary system while selecting the stars for measured disc diameter. The average astronomical seeing value was obtained for each image. Astronomical seeing variation graphs and from astronomical seeing values, frequency graphics were created throughout the year for per night. According to this study, astronomical seeing for COMUG was determined in the range of 3.6 to 4.0 arc second.
