Abstract (EN)
Süleyman Hüsnü Pasha was (General) commendor of the Ottoman Empire armires in Balkans during 1877-1878 Ottoman-Russian war. His first duty was at Montenegro then he took over the command of Dunaphe front from Mehmed Ali Pasha. Due to his extraordinary efforts in the battle of Sipka he was pronounced as "Hero of Sipka". Following that when he lost the battle he was then dimıissed from his duties and exied to Baghdat.
