As a result of testing the constructed model, reappraisal directly and significantly predicts positive problem solving and forgiveness. Reappraisal does not directly and significantly predicts negative problem-solving. Suppression directly and significantly predicts negative problem solving and forgiveness. Suppression does not directly and significantly predicts positive problem-solving. Forgiveness directly and significantly predicts positive and negative problem-solving. Reappraisal indirectly predicts positive and negative problem solving through forgiveness. Suppression indirectly predicts positive and negative problem solving through forgiveness. These findings obtained in the research were discussed and interpreted within the scope of the literature. Suggestions were made to researchers and practitioners for future studies.
