As a result of the research, it was found that dysfunctional beliefs about marriage differ statistically significantly according to gender, university and parental education level. It was found that there was a positive and weakly significant relationship between dysfunctional beliefs about marriage and disconnection, impaired autonomy, unrelenting standards, other-directedness schema domains. In addition, a positive and significant relationship was found between parental attitudes, in which parents are perceived as rejecting and overprotective, and impaired autonomy, disconnection, impaired limits, unrelenting standards, and other-directedness schema domains. Also it was found that there is a significant negative relationship between the emotional warmth attitude perceived from the mother and the impaired autonomy and disconnection schema domains; between the emotional warmth attitude perceived from the father and the impaired autonomy, disconnection and other-directedness schema domains.
