Abstract (EN)

In this study, it was aimed at comparing psychological structuring of working conditions of workers in Production and service sector and at determining managing stress types in sectoral way. The sample of the study was formed by 260 volunteers working for production and service sector in Istanbul. Demographic information form and Short Symptom Inventory and Managing Stress Attitude Scale were used in order to collect data and to determine their psychological structure, respectively. During data analysis, Cronbach Alpha for reliability analysis of data set, KolmogorovSmirnow for viewing whether variable distribution was normal, Mann-Whitney U test for assessing whether sub-scales differed according to sector and Mann-Whitney U and Kruskal-Wallis H tests for assessing whether sub-scales differed according to demographic variables.were conducted According to analysis results, it was found that psychological structuring did not differ in production and service sector, but that managing stress types differed in sectoral way.
