Abstract (EN)

A field study was conducted to evaluate the effects of 11 herbicides with different active substances applied in the beginning, middle and end of wheat tillering, on weed and the some parameters of wheat. A survey study was conducted to determine the knowledge and experiences of producers concerning cultivation and weed control as well as the level of weed problems. As a result of the field study, it was determined that there was no difference between the herbicide applied in the control of Scandix pecten-veneris L., Convolvulus arvensis L., Galium tricornutum Dany. and others (Turgenia latifolia (L.) Hoffm., Anthemis arvensis L., Buglossoides arvensis (L.) I.M.Johnst., Vicia sativa L., Veronica hederifolia L.) and the application period. An effective control could be made via the Mes+Thi+Iod+Mef (Atlantis star), 2,4-D (Weed killer) and Ami+Flo (Lancelot super) treatments at the end of tillering in the control of Chondrilla juncea (L.). As a result of the survey, it was determined that educational status of the producers was primary education in general. During the interviews, the producers stated that the weeds decreased productivity was a restrictive factor and the weed species causing problems were Avena barbata Pott ex Link subsp. barbata, Sinapis arvensis L., Bifora radians Bieb. and Convolvulus arvensis (L.). It was revealed that the producers choose herbicides in the weed control and use herbicides especially against broad-leaf weeds and they had lack of knowledge concerning the narrow-leaf weed control.
