Osama Ibn Munkiz his life, works and poetry

Osama Ibn Munkiz was born on 4 july in 1095 at Şeyzer that's under the cantrol of Syria. Ibn Munkiz who was writer poet and historian, gave many works, writings in these fields. His wasterpiece in poetry is Divanu'ş-Şiir. It wos made of six episodes (Gazel, evsaf, medih, edp, merasi, müleh). Couplets in each episodes were erranged in alphabetical order and poetries were based on real life. In addition to his poets, he wrote important boks in field of history. Ibn Münkiz, in addition to his writer and historian identity, was consultant of Selahaddin Eyyubi and Nureddin Zengi whom they were successful leaders of islamic world. Ibn Münkiz solued the problems of his time as being successful stateswan. Ibn Munkiz died on 23 Ramadan 584 at ( 15 November 1188 ) Damask and buried to Cebelikasyun Cemetary.
