Abstract (EN)

Thesis delves into issues of usage of style as a classifier tool within architectural infoscape. By investigating the major establisher role of form notion within architectural infoscape, it asserts that notion of style is invalidated in contemporary architectural atmosphere. However, making this proposal is only possible with an assent that recognizes architectural infoscape as a broadening entity continually. In this sense, it is attempted to create an instance of a theoritical frame over informé, performance and generativity affairs. In order to make this theoritical frame attempt possible, these three notions are discussed within their own means and are theorized with their possible relationships to each other. Possible potentials of the generativity notion, especially in in terms of design thinking and design approaches has been overlooked in recent past. This study proposes that it is inappropriate to evaluate architectural infoscape through the instrumentality of restrictive tools that have entire different backgrounds such as style and form. In this point of view, main goal of thesis is to underline the significance of considering architectural infoscape and its various dynamics.
