Abstract (EN)
Distance education is rapidly growing in parallel with the development of information and communication technologies. Distance education ensures equal opportunities for individuals seeking to improve their career development pathways and enhance personal self-development. Governments aim at improvıng their education rankings by means of distance education being an important economic development indicator for cross country comparisons. As distance education gains more popularity, the design and implementation of marketing strategy for distance learning becomes important. As a part of this study, there was conducted a survey of 403 beneficiaries of distance learning English education program within a language school specialised in distance learning. Identifıcation and implementation of an appropriate marketing strategy and continuous monitoring of its performance is one of most important marketing management activities for this type of service provision. In this context, availability of training materials tailored to the specific needs of this target audience would positively affect the buyers perception and would ultimately bring benefits and advantages to the clients. This also leads to an increase in the level of buyers' satisfaction.
