Abstract (EN)

In this master thesis study, the effects of different long-term tillage practices on soil respiration, dehydrogenase enzyme activity, formation of mineral nitrogen and denitrification capacity of the soil were investigated. For this purpose, seven different tillage practices, Conventional tillage with stubble (CTS), Conventional tillage with stubbles burned (CTB), Heavy disc harrow reduced tillage (RTD), Rototiller reduced tillage (RTR), Heavy disc harrow zero soil tillage (RNT), No till or zero tillage (NT) and Strategic no till (SNT) were used. According to the results, soil respiration, ammonium nitrogen and mineral nitrogen values were highest in STI application, while dehydrogenase enzyme activity, denitrification potential and nitrate nitrogen were determined in STI practice. Increasing tillage practices have adversely affected biological properties and mineral nitrogen content of the soil. In addition, with the removal of the stubble from the soil by burning, soil respiration and dehydrogenase enzyme activity, which are important biological indicators of the soil, were found to be significantly low.
