Examining the effect of the leadership characteristics of volleyball coaches on their self-efficacy

Volleyball sports are among the most popular sports branches from past to present. With each passing day, the focus of interest is increasing. Although the number of people who are interested in volleyball sport is constantly increasing in our country, it is among the sports branches that are increasing in popularity. As seen in our country, both socially and licensed athletes are interested in the field of volleyball, and it is aimed to provide a multiplier to the training by considering the self-efficacy of the leadership characteristics on the coaches. In the study conducted in line with these goals, the concept of leadership was first examined in detail and in all its aspects, and the effect of the leadership qualities of the volleyball coaches on their self-efficacy was examined by considering the self-efficacy of the volleyball coaches. In this thesis, which was written in order to examine the impact of the leadership qualities of volleyball coaches on their self-efficacy, the results obtained by determining the relationship between the leadership qualities and self-efficacy of the volleyball branch coaches will contribute to volleyball coach training. This study was realized as a result of the participation of 60 coaches in the surveys. Participating coaches consist of 1st League, 2nd League and 3rd League men's coaches. Leadership and self-efficacy concepts are explained in detail and the effects of this concept on coaches are examined. As a result, it has been determined that there is a relationship between coaches' leadership types and self-efficacy.
