Abstract (EN)
In this work we construct the Wallman-Frink compactifications of an arbitrary topological space X. This method was first introduced by Wallman in 1938 and later developed by Frink in 1964. We also investigate whether every compactification of X is of Wallman-Frink type. We reduce this question to the case of discrete spaces. Key Words: Completely regular space, compactifications, normal base.
