Abstract (EN)
In this research, the effects of different types of feedback strategies and attitudes of students towards internet on learning in web mediated problem based learning were investigated. In the experimental research, a coursware called ?Excel Öğreniyorum (I am learning Excel)? which was prepared by the researcher was used. Totaly 40 students from Kırsehir Yusuf Sıddık Demir Anatolian High School were selected for the research in 2006-2007 second semester. The students were randomly devided into two groups. The first group was given online confirmative feedback and the second was given online constructive feedback during the training period. According to the results derived from one way ANOVA, there was a significant difference between the academic achievement of students according to the type of feedback strategy applied [F(1-38)=20,087, p<,01]. In other words, the achievement of the group which was given online constructive feedback ( x =76,00) was found higher than the achievement of the group which was given confirmative feedback ( x =63,9). In addition, positive or negative attitudes of students towards internet did not make significant differences between students? achievement scores in general. In the group of students which was given online confirmative feedback, the achievement of students with positive attitude towards internet was higher than the others?. On the contrary, positive or negative attitudes of students towards internet did not make a significant difference between students?s achievement scores in the group of students which was given online constructive feedback.
