Web based conceptual design

This thesis reports the development of a web based system which is able to used in machine conceptual design. In principle, the system is based on developing function structures and finding solutions which correspond to these function structures within different and widely possible area. This web based system has features such as internet remote users connecting to the system, using the system, new design data or solutions adding to database, being able to enlarging and being able to integrate with new technologies. Thus this system will be able to contribute to training design lecture in technical schools in addition to facilitating to evolve better designs for designers in industry. This system has been developed by being followed conceptual design process which belongs to ?Sytematic Approach? as a design method. The developed computer system has been written in Visual Basic .Net 2005 programming language. Key Words : Conceptual design, web based conceptual design
