Abstract (EN)

ABSTRACTThermoluminescence studies of Dy doped MgB4O7 samples showed a glow emission peaked at about 195ºC.In this study, the trapping parameters associated with this prominent glow peak of Dy and Na doped MgB4O7was determined using 4 sets of methods, namely isothermal luminescence decay, glow curve shape, initialrise (linear regression) and TM-Tstop methods. We reported the results on the kinetic behaviour and activationo o -1energy determination of the peak that occurs at 195 C with a heating rate of 2 C s . The average activationenergy obtained by isothermal luminescence decay method (ILD), glow curve shape method and initial rise(IR) method are 1.03, 0.95 and 0.89 eV, respectively. ILD, glow curve shape and TM-Tstop methods indicate a10non-first order kinetics. The frequency factor obtained by ILD, IR, and glow curve shape methods are 3.5x10 ,9 8 -11.6x10 and 3.4x10 s , respectively.
