Abstract (EN)
The concept of manager support means that the manager supports the employee emotionally, socially, materially, and morally. In this study, which was conducted to compare the manager support differences of the X and Y generations, which make up the majority of the employees in the business world, a questionnaire was applied to 163 administrative employees of a logistics company in Istanbul. The collected data were analyzed with the SPSS (IBM SPSS Statistics) package program. As a result of the analysis, no significant difference was found in the perceptions of the X and Y generations of manager support. On the other hand, the scale of perceived manager support includes the statement "My manager assigns me to represent the business/department/unit at a meeting/conference/seminar" and "My manager is proud of my achievements.". The level of agreement with this expression differs depending on generation. The level of agreement with both statements is higher in the X generation.
