Abstract (EN)
The subject of our study is to clarify the administrative division applied by the political powers reigned the Persian Region that was one of the most significant centers of the Iranian territory during the XI. and XII. centuries. The Persian Region that has been demanded as one of the most important settlements of the territory since the First Ages throughout history had an administrative structure shaped by the political, social, and cultural legacy of the Iranian territory during the time period that is the focus of our study. During this centennial period that we examined, the administrative organization of the region both sustained its existence as a continuation of the traditional structure and also adopted innovations brought by the political powers that reigned the region. During this period, in addition to the local dynasties of Iranian origin, the states that contributed most to the development of the administrative structure were Abbasids, Buyids, and Great Seljuks. It is seen that, within the time period we examined, the local dynasties of Iranian origin that reigned the Persian region such as Saffaris and Shebankares were the executors of the administrative structure built by the powerful states in the region. First of all, information was provided about the political, social, and cultural history of the Iranian and Persian region in order to vigorously understand the administrative division of the time period we dealt with. Then, practices belonging to previous periods were examined to understand the factors that played a role in shaping the administrative division of the Persian region during the XI. and XII. centuries. When dealing with the time period that is the focus of our study, administrative units shaped mainly according to the Persian territory were first determined and explained under different headings. Lastly, institutions included in these administrative units were addressed with their sub-units. Moreover, administrators who served under these institutions within different time periods under different political authorities were given as examples. These administrative institutions and officials that served as providers of order in the Persian region tried to pursue their influence in the region in line with the current political authority.
