Abstract (EN)

Victory of the Malazgirt made the history as the war opening the doorof new motherland. There is no war like Malazgirt with important results inTurkish history. Miryekefelon, the second victory, was won after about acentury that completes Malazgirt. In this contex, Turks had two importantvictories against rivals one after the other.After as a result of the second military success, Seljuks had a successin achieving political integrity of Turkish in Anatolia. Despite the many effortsmade by Seljuks who were not able to establish political integrity for about acentury, after victory of the Miryokefelon, Seljuks dominated Anatolia fromcoasts of the Rodos to surroundings of the Kars in a short timeIn XIII century, active scientific and cultural activity calls the attentionin Anatolia. The country was gotten full of scientific houses, medresses, sufisand poets. Science and scientist were given great importance. People, wholived in place devastated by Mogol invasion, came to Turkey where theythought that it was the best for themselves.Compared to other Islamic countries, in XIII century Turks were not atlower level in terms of civilization in Anatolia. Turkey was at the high level interms of either fiscal or public works. In this century, Kırşehir was one of thebest important city in Seljuk?s Turkey. Owing to its political importance, it wasgiven by II.Kılıç Arslan to his eldest son. The city which was taken over avizier was considered too much for a man of this rank.Whereas emirs who had city were not mentioned, the fact that Emirof the Kırşehir was mentioned for many times is another document indicatingthe political importance of the Kırşehir. But it lost its previous importance inXIV century. It has become a border city which is permanently taken overfrom one principality to another during the conflicts amongst the principalities.Very active social life calls the attention in the city in XIII century.Kırsehir existing in the road route was equipped with bridges andcaravanserais. Advanced commercial activity calls the attention in Kırşehir.Many khans indicating this activity have been in service. As a result of fiscaland commercial activity, Ahûlik has been indicating itself strongly. As soon asAhi Evren settled down in Kırşehir, Kırşehir became center of the Ahûlik and itlasted for hundreds of years.In connection to Seljuk?s Turkey, important scientific activity indicatesitself. According to our existing sources, Kırşehir had four medresses in thattime. Scientists trained in Kırşehir are known in other Islamic countries.Kırşehir was the center of the Turkish understanding. People in Anatolia whowrote his works in Turkish with their willingness and intent were brought up inKırşehir. Many author and poet brought up later pursued the way theyinitiated. It indicates that Kırşehir played a role of cultural capital.İt is understood that religious movements spreading in Seljuk?s Turkeyfounded a important place in the city. It is seen that Mevlevûlik which was inthe lead was presented by many people in Kırşehir. Babâûlik chose this cityas a center. Muhlis and Asik Pasa who were the representatives of thismovement lived in Kırşehir. Abdalân-ı Rûm and Ahûyân-ı Rûm people whomade many efforts in setting up and developing the Ottoman Empire went toremote areas from here.Bektasilik, the second Turkish sect after Yesevûlik, appeared inKırşehir in Turkish history and it spread in Ottoman regions from there. ButBektasilik became its today?s situation after joining together with Hurûfûlik, 12İmam Sii and Kalenderûlik in XIV and XV century. It is very important thatrelation of Hacı Bektas with Kırşehir and important people in Kırşehir is inaccordance with historical documents in VilayetnameIt is understood that Kırşehir was subjected to very large scale ofconstruction and public improvements movements. There were institutions allaround the city which met all the social needs. It shows how strong fiscalstructure the city had. It should not be forgotten that buildings which make usastonished even now cannot be built without great economic support.
