The transcription and evaluation of court register numbered XLI of Antalya 1309-1315 (a.d. 1892-1897)

As it is known, Tanzimat Period which means a multifaceted process of change,deserves a special importance by means of gaining speed of a general tendency tocentralization in Otoman Empire. İn this sense while the instituations are being connected tothe center closely, on the other hand the range of authority is tried to be expanded by going tothe activities of institutionalization deprived areas of the central authorities. İn a way theadministration of the orphans which serves this purpose has filled an important gap in theother way. Especially according to this either the Orphan?s funds that have been created toprovide the evaluation of Orphan?s goods by saving or they take an important place in theeconomical life which have been settled. On the basis of records Antalya şer?iyye sicili defteri(Court Registry Book) nr. XLI (1892-1897), the functioning of the crate to Antalya region,lending transactions on behalf of orphans and procedures have been put forth. In addition, asfar as it can be determined, the region's datas on the administrative, economic and social lifehave been also evaluated in the court registry book.
