Abstract (EN)

The primary aim of this study is to develop educational material based on Prophetic Hadith texts to enhance the language skills of students learning Arabic for religious purposes. The research emphasizes the significant reciprocal relationship between Islam and the Arabic language and highlights the importance of spreading Arabic among Muslims. The study consists of two main parts. The first part is devoted to the theoretical framework, detailing the importance and objectives of teaching foreign languages for specific purposes, with a focus on teaching Arabic for religious aims. It also comprehensively addresses the fundamental language skills: listening, reading, speaking, and writing. The second part is dedicated to the practical application, where the stylistic and pedagogical features of the Prophetic Hadiths are analyzed, and instructional unit titles based on these features are presented. The implementation procedures, including the preparation and application of surveys for teachers and students, are thoroughly explained. Subsequently, the findings of the field study are analyzed and discussed in light of the research questions. The study concludes with results and recommendations and includes educational content composed of five teaching units, exam questions, and survey forms used in the fieldwork. This research makes an important contribution to the field of teaching Arabic for religious purposes by demonstrating that Prophetic Hadith texts serve as an effective resource for language instruction development.
