Abstract (EN)
World of words plays an importont role in designating the poet?sstyle. Works which are done in this field are also used for clarifying the poet?sliterature career and style. In our thesis, we studied on world of words inYahyâ Kemâl?s poems.In the introduction of the thesis we gave some information aboutYahyâ Kemâl?s life, personality and style.In the first chapter, we mentioned about data and evaluatic which weabtained from all words in Yahyâ Kemâl?s poems.The fact that we made acomparison between the dictionary,namely ?Yazılı Türkçenin Kelime SıklığıSözlüğü?written by İlyas Göz and Yahya Kemal?s poems helps us to view theBeyetlı?s poems in a different way. The number of words he used in his allpoems, kinds of words, the freguency of these words, usage and proportionof each adjectives and noun-phrases are separately examined in details.In the second chapter, the art of words he used frequently isinvestigated and it?s focused on how it contributed to his poems.In the conclusion part, there is an evaluation part which includes theincludes the investigation we made and the data we obtained.
