Abstract (EN)
The main goal of this study is to analyze the level of marital adjustment and sexual satisfaction of the individuals who have been married for almost five years and more than five years. There are 100 female and 100 male participants in the study. Personal Information Form, Marital Adjustment Scale and Golombok-Rust Sexual Satisfaction Scale were used in order to gather the relevant data. Result of the study indicates that there is a positive correlation between the length of the marriage and marital adjustment. The individuals who have been married more than 5 years shows higher level of marital adjustment than the individuals who have been married almost 5 years however age and gender difference have complimentary effects to the result. Males who have been married more than 5 years indicate better level of marital adjustment compared to the females who are in the same situation furthermore, increase in the level of age groups show higher level of marital adjustment between the couples as well. Finally, for both group of couples, high level of marital adjustment increases the level of sexual satisfaction.
