Abstract (EN)

In this work, the thermodynamic parameters of poly [2-(p-chloro phenyl)-1,3-dioxalane-4-yl] methyl acrylate-co-styrene and poly [2-(p-chloro phenyl)-1,3-dioxalane-4-yl] methyl acrylate-co-acrylonitrile were investigated by using Inverse Gas Chromatography. Polymers were covered by the Chromosorb W and were packed within column, then the probes were injected at different temperatures (323-453 K) and the specific retention volumes were obtained. The glass transition temperature (Tg) of polymers were found respectively 90 0C and 80 0C from the plot of in Vg0 versus 1/T. The heats of the adsorbtion of probes on the polymers at the temperatures below the glass transition temperature were found. Above the glass transition temperature ?H1s, ?S1s and ?G1s values of probes for sorption were determined. The weight activity coefficients (a1/w1)?, Flory-Huggins interaction parameters (?), partial molar free energies (?G1?) and partial molar heats (?H1?) values of probes were obtained for infinite dilution state. The solubility parameters (?2) of polymers were determined by values of Flory-Huggins interaction parameters. It was seen that the solubility parameters decreased with the increasing temperature. Keywords: Synthesis, [2-(p-chloro phenyl)-1,3-dioxalane-4-yl] methyl acrylate-co-styrene, [2-(p-chloro phenyl)-1,3-dioxalane-4-yl] methyl acrylate-co-acrylonitryl, Inverse Gas Chromatography, Weight Activity Coefficients,Flory-Huggins Interaction Parameters, Solubility Parameters.
