Abstract (EN)
With the rapid advancement of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies, significant contributions are being made to multidisciplinary fields such as natural language processing, animation production, and advertising. In this context, the role of AI in animation production processes has become increasingly prominent. This study aims to evaluate storyboard visuals generated by different AI-based tools in terms of their resemblance to real cartoon scenes and their narrative effectiveness. Storyboards consisting of 15 scenes were created using ChatGPT, Stability AI, Storyboard That, and Canva, and then compared with original cartoon visuals. Through a questionnaire administered to participants, the generated visuals were assessed based on criteria such as realism, plot coherence, emotional expression of characters, and scene consistency. The findings reveal how AI tools contribute to the storyboard creation process and the extent to which they are effective in visual storytelling. This study aims to highlight the potential of AI-assisted design tools in digital content production and provide a foundation for future research in animation and visual storytelling practices.
