Abstract (EN)

In this study, a shaking table was constructed with a data acquisition system to investigate experimental behaviour of structures and its performance tests were realized. The results which were achieved from experimentally and using structural analysis software were compared and it was seen that shake table was apply base excitation with adequate sensitivity. In the study scope, the model/replica structure construction techniques were investigated, a structural replica was built using these techniques and laws which known as similarity/scale laws. The constructed model was tested on the shake table, achieved results compared with results of numerical analysis of the same replica structure and the conditions which effects on dynamic behaviour was investigated. According to achieved results, it was seen that the importance of the adequate boundary conditions and damping models in structural analysis software. In the experimental part of the study, it was investigated that how to clean the achieved noisy signal by signal processing, filtering etc. As a result of the study, an important experimental facility was constructed in Structural Laboratory of Civil Engineering Department of Cukurova University.
