Abstract (EN)

While the compressive strength and structural characteristics of the reinforced concrete structures can be modeled in close proximity to the samples and samples taken during the construction phase, various methods have been developed in order to determine the characteristic values of the existing structures and historical structures, namely their behavior under various loads. However, it is not possible to detect material properties or building characteristics in some buildings, especially in historical buildings, by classical test methods without damaging the structure. With the help of accelerometers placed at the nodes of the structure, following the vibrations of the building and creating a model for it has gained popularity with the developing technology in recent years. This method is called Operational Modal Analysis (OMA) Method. In this method, computer programs that allow us to create a analysis model by processing thousands of data from accelerometers are the most important step of this method. In this thesis, a computer program has been developed for Operational Modal Analysis Method which is expected to be used intensively. This program determines the mod behaviors and damping rates of a structure with the data from the accelerometers. In this way, modal analysis can be performed. It is encoded using the MATLAB software program. Frequency Domain Decomposition (FDD) algorithm and Pick-Picking method were used as the analysis method. These methods are used in low damping structures and have been tested with vibration data from a bridge in Poland, Muradiye Mosque in Manisa/Turkey and Sultan Mosque in Manisa/Turkey. The test results were close to 99% compared to the Artemis ModalPro modal analysis program.
