Abstract (EN)
In earthquakes caused by ground motion, studies on earthquake resistant building design are mostly; In recent years, the earthquake behavior of non-structural elements has been investigated since non-structural elements are also important for life and property safety. The loss of life of non-structural building elements due to earthquake movements, their economic value, their importance in terms of function, and the disasters that will occur in their damage are taken into consideration. Performance targets, measures and the approach of the legislation to this issue were evaluated in order to avoid the losses and negativities that may occur.
