Abstract (EN)

SUMMARY THE EFFECTS OF AGEING PERIOD ON THERMAL AND STRUCTURAL PROPERTIES OF CU-BASED SHAPE MEMORY ALLOYS In this work, Cu-Al-Ni-Mn alloy was produced by melting. The structure and phase transformations of the alloy was determined. The investigations were made according to; EDX analysis, X-Ray diffraction analysis, Differential thermal analysis (TG/DTA) and Differential scanning calorimetry (DSC ) analysis. As a result of the X-ray measurements the structure and the (hkl) planes of the sample was determined.The order-disorder phase transitions present at high temperature were determined by TG/DTA measurements. The characteristic transformation temperatures were investigated by DSC measurents and also austenit and martensit start and finish temperatures and enthalpy values of the sample was determined and then and entropy and equilibrium temperature of the sample was calculated. This procedure was occured for homogenized and aged samples. Keywords: Shape memory alloys,Thermal ageing.
