Abstract (EN)
This study includes the analysis and design of half-through arch and truss pedestrian bridges as well as riveted railway bridges according to the Turkish Building Earthquake Code 2018. For designing of the footbridges the Steel Structures Calculation, Design and Building Principles Codes-2016 are utilized and different codes are used in the design of the railway overpass. In the earthquake analysis of the pedestrian bridges and vehicle overpasses, the model superposition method is utilized. The modeling and structural analysis of all three structures is done by using the SAP2000 package program. The structures' design is accomplished according to the load combinations based on Design with Load and Capacity Coefficients and Design with Safety Coefficients principles.
