Abstract (EN)

In a network, many factors, such as bandwidth, time difference between packets arrival, and whether packets are in place, directly affect performance. In order to improve the quality of the system, it is necessary to make determinations that can improve the performance, to ensure that the directions are made in accordance with these determinations and to direct the packets to alternative routes. Approaches that are developed by using the advantage of software-defined networks (SDN) technology, expected to improve the performance quality of WebRTC technology, which is widely used in today's video conferencing applications. Because it is known that SDN technology has the potential to make significant improvements to network limits, performance issues, and similar issues. In this thesis, WebRTC and SDN technology were examined separately and widely and detailed literature search has been completed for WebRTC and SDN by separately and together. It was desired to find out how the support of software-defined networks technology effect the performance of WebRTC conference system between platforms and its system applications. With the scope of the thesis, WebRTC technology is supported by SDN technology for enhancing the performance of video calls, for increasing quality and maximizing the performance of video streaming.
