Abstract (EN)

In this study, a wireless power transfer system based on magnetically coupled resonance theory will be realized for 10 cm air gap. After network voltage is rectified and filtered, power will be transferred via high frequency resonance inverter topology that planned to be designed. By switching at zero crossing, switching losses that occur at high frequency will be reduced thus the inverter efficiency will increase. According to J2954 standard, which has been completed by the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE), the frequency for charging unit of the electric vehicle is approximately in (81.39 kHz-90 kHz) frequency band. Therefore in this study, capacitor and inductor values are calculated for power transfer circuit at 83 kHz frequency at no load condition. AS resonance frequency will change when the system is loaded, new resonance frequency which will transfer maximum power has to be calculated. In this thesis; frequency which allows the transfer of maximum power is calculated automatically with the help of the algorithm developed under changinig conditions of air gap, load and circuit parameters. The operating point of maximum power transfer simultaneously corresponds to the highest point of efficiency of the system. In the wireless energy transfer system that has been developed, in around 10 cm of air gap, input power is 1.02kW, output power is 0.909 kW and efficiency is 89.12%.
