The structure morphology of new Uighur Turkish

The Structure Morphology of New Uighur Turkish, Master?s Thesis, Ankara, 2008.In our study, the words which took derivational affixes taking place in the dictionary named ?Uighursko ? Russkiy Slovar? that is one of the most extensive dictionaries of New Uighur Turkish consisting of 33000 words have been determined. Then the derivational affixes have been classified, and the affixes for making noun from noun, verb from noun, noun from the verb, verb from verb have been given by examples. In the footnotes of the determined derivational affixes, their changing and developments have been tried to get shown by historical analogy. Furthermore, the derivational affixes that we determined in the dictionary named ?Uighursko ? Russkiy Slovar? which don?t take place in the present grammar of New Uighur Turkish have been given, too. Under the heading ?The Quoted Suffixes That Make Noun From Noun? , the new forms of the word making suffixes of Arabic and Persian origin in new Uighur Turkish, their functions and examples have also been given.The material of our study hasn?t been limited by ?Uighursko ? Russkiy Slovar?, other dictionaries and grammar books have also been referred to in the necessary sections. For the quoted words, Arabic, Persian, and Ottoman Turkish dictionaries have been referred.The Structure Morphology of New Uighur Turkish is one of the first study performed in order to give the derivational affixes of New Uighur Turkish completely and in detail and to search the suffixes comparing historically.Key Words :1.
