Abstract (EN)

In this study, it was aimed to retrospectively examine the laboratory findings of the newborns with transient tachypnea followed up in the neonatal intensive care unit, to compare the hemogram parameters of healthy newborns and to discuss the results. The study was carried out in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit of Harran University Medical Faculty Hospital. Hemogram parameters (WBC, LYM, NEU, HGB, HCT, MPV, PLT) of a total of 200 cases were evaluated within the scope of the study, including 100 newborn patient groups diagnosed with Transient Tachypnea of the Newborn and 100 healthy newborns as the control group. According to the findings obtained from the study; The mean WBC value of the patients in the control group is statistically significantly higher than the mean of the patients in the patient group. The mean LYM value of the patients in the patient group is higher than the mean of the patients in the control group, but it is not statistically significant. The mean NEU value of the patients in the control group is higher than the mean of the patients in the patient group, but it is not statistically significant. The average of the HCT value of the subjects in the control group is higher than the average of the subjects in the patient group, but it is not statistically significant. The mean HGB value of the patients in the patient group is higher than the mean of the patients in the control group, but it is not statistically significant. The mean MPV value of the patients in the patient group was higher than the mean of the patients in the control group, but it was not statistically significant. The average of the PLT value of the subjects in the control group is statistically significantly higher than the average of the subjects in the patient group. From the hemogram parameters of the cases in the patient group in the study; There is a statistically significant positive correlation between WBC values and LYM, NEU, HCT, MPV and PLT values. Again in the patient group, it was determined that there was a statistically significant positive correlation between LYM and MPV values, between NEU and HCT values, between HCT values and HGB values, and between HGB values and MPV values. In the study, among the hemogram parameters of the subjects in the control group, there was a statistically significant correlation between WBC values and LYM, NEU and HGB values, and a positive relationship between MPV values and a negative statistically significant relationship. There is a negative direction between LYM and MPV values, a positive direction between PLT values, statistically positive between NEU and HCT values, a positive direction between HCT values and HGB values, negative directions between MPV and PLT values, and a positive direction between HGB values and MPV values. there is a relationship.
