Abstract (EN)
This thesis study presents a comprehensive analysis of the technical impacts of Distributed Generation (DG) systems based on renewable energy sources on distribution networks under a variety of operational scenarios. The IEEE 33-bus standard test system was modeled using ETAP software, and scenarios were developed by taking into account different load profiles, generation levels, consumer behaviors, and fault conditions. These scenarios include nominal, low, and high loading cases; the integration of renewable energy sources such as solar photovoltaic (PV) and wind energy generation (WEG); the inclusion of electric vehicle (EV) loads in hybrid configurations; and different fault scenarios. In particular, fault conditions were evaluated with the inclusion of mobile generator support, assessing the continuity, resilience, and recovery capability of the system. Each scenario was analyzed in terms of key technical parameters such as voltage profile, active power loss, short circuit current, system stability, power quality indicators, and generator cost analysis. Furthermore, the effects on overall system efficiency, operational flexibility, and supply reliability were considered throughout the evaluation process. The results reveal that properly planned and integrated renewable-based DG systems can significantly enhance technical performance on the grid, improving energy quality and reducing losses. Additionally, mobile generators have been shown to offer a reliable and cost-effective solution in emergency cases such as system failures, load spikes, or natural disasters, thereby supporting uninterrupted power supply and enhancing grid resilience. These findings provide valuable insights for the design of future smart distribution systems and highlight the importance of proactive emergency planning and flexible operational strategies in modern power networks.
