Abstract (EN)
Mining is one of the important business lines of the world and our country. Various physical risk factors of mining activities emerge. Noise starts at the beginning of these physical risk factors. Today, with the increase in technology, mechanization has started in underground mining depending on the technology designed. However, working personnel face high noise levels. Noise is physiologically and psychologically effective on human. The primary one is for hearing loss, which is an occupational disease. In this study, job descriptions of different occupational groups are made in underground coal mining, and the noise levels of the personnel working in these occupational groups are determined. The noise measurements are evaluated within the scope of the noise regulation and the measures and measures that can be taken against noise are mentioned.
