Abstract (EN)
Local governments, through administrative units such as municipalities, special provincial administrations and villages, manage the administration of a region or a city in a localised and efficient manner. These units provide services and make decisions that directly affect the daily lives of citizens. Local government subsidiaries are companies established by local governments to provide these services more effectively and efficiently. These companies, wholly or partially owned by municipalities or special provincial administrations, provide basic public services such as social facilities, water, electricity, transport and waste management. It is important to have strong subsidiaries in order to provide local government services more effectively. In this study, a sample local government subsidiary has been valued and the value of the subsidiary has been determined. As a result of the valuation, the value of the subsidiary was calculated as 59.761.108 TL.
