Abstract (EN)
In this study, solid waste management of Ege Life Apartments which consists of two blocks, constructed by Ikon Hafriyat Ltd at Street number 881, Gültepe District, Sarıçam, Adana, was analyzed. Domestic waste generated at Ege Life was separated according to their classes in the source, amount and environmental contribution of recyclable waste was calculated. Additional aims were, generating a substantial income from the waste and having this income model to set an example. Solid waste management, at housings such as Ege Life, based on separation at the source, income and environmental contribution issues were discussed.
