Determination of the effect of green logistics practices on perceived servise value by Gloval Scale: A research on cargo company customers

With the increasing consumption of the consumer, the natural environment can be damaged and natural resources are at risk of extinction. Company activities have negative effects on the environment as well as individuals leaving negative impressions. Today, as there are systems developed all over the world regarding sustainability, the attitudes and behaviors of consumers have taken on an environmentalist identity. Considering the damage that the logistics industry may cause on the natural environment, it is imperative that logistics be integrated with sustainability, as in every sector. The impact of the logistics industry on the environment is not also negligible. Impressiveness degree on the environment is much higher than as it's considered. Considering the damage that the logistics industry may cause on the natural environment, it is imperative that logistics be integrated with sustainability, as in every sector. It is inevitable that companies that can achieve success in green logistics practices will create positive perceptions in consumers. One of these perceptions can be experienced in the "value" dimension. The aim of this study is to determine the effect of green logistics practices on perceived service value. For this purpose; A face-to-face questionnaire was conducted with the consumers who reside in Izmir and received cargo service. As a result of the study, it was seen that the most effective practices on the perceived value was green transport and the practices whose effect could not be determined was green storage. In addition, it was determined that the type of value most affected by green practices is functional (price and quality) value, and the least affected by are residential and social value.
