The sample of the research was conducted by Health Sciences University Bakırköy Dr. The sample consisted of 349 individuals who came to Sadi Konuk Training and Research Hospital Family Medicine Polyclinic for examination, were not diagnosed with acute coronary syndrome, did not have any communication barriers, and were between the ages of 45-74 and gave their consent to participate in the study. Introductory Information Form and Acute Coronary Syndrome Response Index were used during the data collection phase. The Introductory Information Form includes the demographic characteristics and existing risk factors of individuals. With the Acute Coronary Syndrome response index, it is aimed to evaluate the knowledge, attitude and belief dimensions of individuals towards chest pain and accompanying acute coronary syndrome symptoms. The data of the study were collected by face-to-face interview technique with individuals between October and December 2023. Number, percentage, mean and standard deviation were used as descriptive statistical methods in the analysis of the data. T-test was used to compare quantitative continuous data between two independent groups, and one-way ANOVA test was used to compare quantitative continuous data between more than two independent groups. After the ANOVA test, the Scheffe test was used as a complementary post-hoc analysis to determine the differences. Pearson correlation analysis was applied between the continuous variables of the study. According to the findings, the score size for acute coronary syndrome symptoms of individuals aged 45-74 was found to be low, and the attitude and belief size varied depending on demographic characteristics.
