?The History of Kirghiz Literature in the first half of the Twentieth Century (1900-1950)?, Master Thezis, Ankara, 2008.As the study named ?the History of Kirghiz Literature in the first half of the Twentieth Century (1900-1950)? has become the main part, the study composes of ?Introduction?, ?Kirghiz Literature in the first half of the Twentieth Century?, ?Literary Personalities? and ?Conclusion? parts.In the ?Introduction? part, beginning from the placing of Kyrgyzstan in Russian power, it has been asserted that the general subjects as political, social and cultural life of Kirghiz people during the period including the first half of the twentieth century and also general information about the relationship of Kirghiz literature with other literatures during the period of transition to modern literature and finally the terms of Kirghiz literature have been stated.In the 1st Section having the name of ?Kirghiz Literature in the first half of the Twentieth Century?, broad information about Kirghiz literature have been given under the titles of ?Kirghiz Literature before Soviet Period?, ?Formation Term of Modern Kirghiz Literature?, ?Development Term of Modern Kirghiz Literature? and ?Kirghiz Literature in the years of war? respectively. While the mentioned information having been given, verse, prose, theater, literary criticism, translation styles, and newspaper and magazine activities for each term have been asserted and also a general evaluation has been done at the end of each term.In the 2nd Section having the name of ?Literary Personalities?, it has been given information about the mentioned literary personalities belonging to the term which is the research subject of this study for Kirghiz Literature.
