Abstract (EN)

In today's increasingly competitive environment, employees' perceptions and attitudes towards their businesses have become an important element in terms of the workability and sustainability of the business. Organizational cynicism is the attitudes that individuals working in businesses develop by harboring negative feelings such as anger, disappointment and hopelessness towards the business in the face of the situations they encounter. If businesses cannot prevent cynicism, they may experience a loss of quality and experienced employees in the long term. Job satisfaction can be explained as the satisfaction that employees feel towards their current job. The expectations of employees and fair approaches in businesses play an important role in the formation of job satisfaction. The purpose of this research is to determine the relationship between organizational cynicism and job satisfaction in food and beverage businesses. For this purpose, a survey technique was applied to measure the organizational cynicism and job satisfaction levels of individuals working in food and beverage businesses in the Kütahya region. The collected 389 survey data were analyzed in the SPSS 25 program. Correlation and regression analyses were performed on the hypotheses determined within the scope of the study. As a result of the analysis, it was determined that there was a negative and weak relationship between job satisfaction and cognitive, behavioral and affective dimensions of organizational cynicism. It was determined that job satisfaction had a statistically significant effect on organizational cynicism dimensions.
