Abstract (EN)
This research is implemented for the aim of determining the influence of executive nurses? management skills on their decision making and ingenuity.This questionnaire that is prepared in accordance with this purpose has been applied on 199 incumbent nurse who are active and carry on their business in 8 public hospitals and 4 private hospitals in Istanbul.Data that is received from questionnaires has been analyzed in the program of SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Sciences) for windows 17.0. In order to determine the reliability of the questions of the survey Cronbach Alpha coefficient has been used. Besides, descriptive statistical methods (Frequency, Percentile, Average, Standard Deviation) have also been used. As for the analysis of hypothesis tests; t-test, anova testing and regression analysis are used.After the research following has come to the conclusion; use of logical/systematic and dependent decision making of executive nurses who were participated in the research were not influenced from their level of ingenuity and management skills. However, performing condition of inner-reactional decision making was affected from ingenuity and management skills, and also from their technical skill levels. Furthermore; as for using instability strategy they were not affected from management skills but on the contrary affected from ingenuity levels.Key words: Executive nurse, Management, Decision making, Ingenuity.
