The effects of teh leadership styles of the managers on the work satisfaction of the workers; educational leadership in the private buildings (schools); an application

The main aim of this work is to demonstrate the employers? satisfaction in private education instutitions. The inquiry was done in Sakarya city. According to that purpose; in the first chapter, I am going to clarify following concepts; management, leadership, and leadership descriptions, also main approaches towards leadership and finally main leader styles. In the second chapter, my explanation will be about employers? satisfaction. Meanwhile, I am going to emphasize some crucial employer satisfaction approaches, and the degree of the work satisfaction. Eventually, the master thesis shall aim to clarify how managers? leader styles affect employers? work satisfaction. The investigation on questionnaire application was done to instructors, servants and officiers who are working in private education schools in Sakarya area. In the final, the inquiry?s result is evaluated by the program SPSS 10.0 For Windows. In order to understand the leadership behaviours of the managers used `the Multiple Variable Statistical Analyze Method?. However, in order to illustrate the differences among the groups used `the One Way Variance Analyze Method?. And finally, to determine the effects of the leadership behaviours used correlation analysis. At he end of the work the managers? leadership styles are drawn as following; autocratic, democratic-participatory and the leadership who allows full freedom. The conclusion of the investigation showed us that the democratic leaders and the leaders who permits full freedom to employers have positive effects to the work satisfaction, on the other hand; autocratic leadership has negative effects to the work satisfaction.
