Yozgat imam hatip high school's place in religious education

This study consists of three parts. The first part consists of basic concepts related to religious education, aims and duties of religious education, non-formal education, formal education and conceptual framework. In the second chapter, the status of the imam hatip and the stages of the imam hatip in the historical process were investigated by searching the sources. The number of imam orators and the course contents are presented in tables. The place of imam orators in religious education activities is mentioned. In the third section, information is given about Yozgat Imam Hatip High School. The processes of Yozgat Imam Hatip High School, course contents, graduates and the current change of Yozgat Imam Hatip High School are examined. Lastly, 11 people from graduates and members of Yozgat İmam Hatip High School were interviewed. In the interview, people from the past to the present have been selected for their efforts, work and interest on the imam orator. With the headings, the importance of Yozgat Imam Hatip High School for Yozgat and its place in religious education were studied. The study was completed with suggestions and conclusions.
