Abstract (EN)
This study analyzes the over voltages, which occur in high voltage transmission systems. A computer program concerning the traveling waves and Lattice diagrams has been developed using the parameters of the electrical transmission system. Considering different conditions, the program has been tested with various system parameters and the results obtained have been examined. The major values of over voltages depending upon the parameters and the characteristics/properties of the system and the factors affecting these values have been determined.
